American Carrion Beetle Larva???

American Carrion Beetle Larva???
Vernon County, Wisconsin, USA
Size: about 10mm
I think this is an American Carrion Beetle larva, but am a slight newbie, and am not sure whether many larva forms look alike or not. I compared my photo to the photos provided on this website (http://bugguide.net/node/view/6884), and obviously they look alike, but I just wanted to know for sure if there are any other beetles' larva forms I could have mistaken this for. The larva was found in a rocky dry creek bed.
