Antispila freemani - Hodges#0233 - Antispila cornifoliella
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 2, 2008
Size: Maybe around 4 mm?
My measurement is more or less nose to wingtip. Came to the light at night.

Moved
Moved from Antispila freemani.
Moved based on the range info that I've added to the guide pages for both species involved, as well as comparison with the reared examples I've uploaded for both species. (Maybe it's better placed at genus level, but it definitely doesn't seem like it should be filed under A. freemani without rearing/dissection/DNA.)

Thanks
I placed it on the species page because it was being used there at MPG. Do you think Steve's here is correct?

Seems unlikely
That was taken in Tennessee. I've moved it to genus:

0233 - Antispila freemani [T]
Terry Harrison, to whom I sent the photo, thinks this is probably the best guess as to the species ID. Without genitalia examination a little caution is required.
