White Cobweb-Weaver Spider - Enoplognatha ovata - female

White Cobweb-Weaver Spider - Enoplognatha ovata - Female
Atlantic Mine, Houghton County, Michigan, USA
August 2, 2008
Size: Body 8 mm long
Found this spider in a cobweb in the basement. The grid squares on the graph paper are 1 mm. It has a very similar body shape to other spiders we have down there, except the others are black instead of white. Is this a distinct species, or just a color phase of the normally-black ones?

Enoplognatha?
See what you think of these.

Yes
Several of those do look quite a lot like her. Thanks!
