Death Beetle with mites - Nicrophorus tomentosus

Death Beetle with mites - Nicrophorus tomentosus
Perry County, Pennsylvania, USA
Always have referred to these as "death beetles". might it be this? http://bugguide.net/node/view/4954 I have not seen any in like 2 years, but they used to be common. This one has a load of mites(?)

Thanks for any ID help

It's Nicrophorus tomentosus
The yellowish pubescence on the pronotum is a, ummm, dead giveaway.

I concur with the id, but...
when was this photographed?

Thanks for the ID
Not sure when it was photographed. Two summers ago, I think
