Porcellio scaber
ID by Ferenc Vilisics

Yup... sorta
Treu "roly polies" or pillbugs are in the family Armadillidiidae(arm-ah-dil-ih-dee-ih-day, I know, it's a mouthful!) and have smooth rounded bodies.

This here is the next best thing, a sow bug, come from the family Porcellionidae (pore-sell-ee-on-ih-day. A lot of these need some practice to say strait), and are flattened and can have rough, pimply backs.

A third group, the pygmy wood lice (all of these guys, sow bugs, pill bugs, and these guys, can be called "wood lice") look like the sow bugs but a much smaller (only a few millimeters long) and are narrow.
They belong to the family Trichoniscidae (try-co-nisk-ih-day) and also seem to like more damp environments then the other two (from personal experience).

Thanks!
for clearing that all up for me!
