DeSoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA

A very worn specimen, on mint--I was wondering if it could be a Summer Azure.

You're on the right track
It is definitely Celatstrina. I've been unable to keep up/figure out what is meant by the various names. I still see one species wherever I go, so we'll leave the species designation to somebody else. However, I think the latest most often followed designation might be C. ladon or neglecta. Where I've lived, they tend to look like this in summer, and to be smaller, darker with stronger markings in winter, spring, and sometimes in fall. But, it's a trend, and not consistent.
