Moved
Moved from Fishing Spiders.

Nice shot
I moved it to the genus page for you.

Spider
Thanks. I need all the help I can get. I've never heard anyone around here mention anything about the fishing spiders.

When you see a spider on the wall
it's fairly likely it's not a wolf spider, which are more commonly found on the ground. I'll bet you notice the fishing spiders more often now that you've had one ID'd.

Fishing Spider
I'll bet you are right about me noticing more of them now. Now that it has been ID'd, would it be customary for me to log in and change the name I gave it from Wolf Spider to Fishing Spider? Thanks. Don

Yes, that would be good
for the search engine. This time I went ahead and changed it for you.

Fishing Spider
Thanks

Not a wolf
This is not a wolf spider.

This is a fishing spider from genus Dolomedes, from the Nursery Web Spider Family Pisauridae.
