Size: about 6 mm
I found this guy under a log, and I suspect that he/she may be a beetle larva of some sort, but I really don't know.

Moved tentatively...
...based on the following pers. comm. from M.A. Muegge: "probably Metajapyx sp. Hard to say which because there are 8-10 Metajapyx spp. that occur from Tennessee south. It could also be Mixojapyx or a member of a new genus I'm currently describing."
