In our garden today. Closest match I could find on BG seems to be Lucilia.

possible Phormia regina
Terry Whitworth det.

Moved from Blow Flies.

Moved
Moved from Calyptratae.

Likely
If this is a blow fly it is probably Lucilia. There are some other shiny metallic flies that are sometimes confused with blow flies.

Thank you very much, John
I appreciate you taking the time to give me that tip.
