I found this beautiful winged insect in my garden in April 2005. Forgot I had this photo until I came across it in old photo files. Please can you tell me what it is. Thank you.

It is a beautiful moth.

Polka-dot Wasp Moth
It's a moth, Syntomeida epilais(1). Tropical moths seem to be more colorful.
