Fishfly? - Chauliodes

Fishfly? - Chauliodes
Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
July 22, 2005
Size: wingspan of 9.2 cm
I found this critter on the wall of my house, so I'd imagine it came to the porch light at night. It looks similar to this specimen in the guide
. I though wing venation could be useful in identification, so I spread it. When I found the specimen it didn't seem to have antennae, as shown by the picture. Perhaps they were damaged by some predator?

Chauliodes ?
I think your're right. This looks like some species from the genus Chauliodes.
