Mistake
Hi Margarethe,
I had some names mixed up in my head a couple days ago. This is actually Philonthus cruentatus, a similar species on dung/compost that has a much wider red mark on the elytra.
Sorry about this!

almost sure. In Europe, species of the P.varians-Group have this appearance, and they can be found on dung.
