Tamarisk Campground Moth - Unciella primula

Tamarisk Campground Moth - Unciella primula
Tamarisk Campground, San Diego County, California, USA
February 28, 2009
Size: ~2cm
I found a handful of these moths around the restrooms/showers at the Tamarisk Campground this weekend. This is a small oasis at 1411' feet in the Santa Rosa mountains. The surrounding area is mostly cactus, creosote bush, and the like, but the campground itself has a number of probably non-native trees.

10111 - Unciella primula
Identified by Tom Dimock (expert West Coast macrolepidopterist at MPG) to whom I sent the photograph. This is the first living moth photo that I have seen of this species. Please contact me at BPatter789@aol.com regarding permission to display your photos of moths and their larvae on Plates at Moth Photographers Group.

Not an ID but
maybe one of the Lacinipolia, sort of reminds me of this Lacinipolia strigicollis (Collared Arches Moth - Hodges#10415) but I may be off a bit.
