Ichneumon Wasp - Female
Ackworth, Warren County, Iowa, USA

Size: 22 mm (tip to tip)
Lone individual on inside of window in house following two days of warm, spring weather. Very narrow waist. First photo of specimen in natural position: wings folded straight over abdomen. Second photo is of chilled specimen: wings lifted.
