thanks, lynette
Sweet of you to say. However, I'm in complete denial today. I spent about twenty minutes this morning perusing Scott's springtail shots looking for a match to something I'd shot. I haven't taken a shot since I joined the Guide that stacks up to those shots. Sheesh. They sure are pretty to look at though.
However, I'm very proud of the fact that he started diving into the springtails after he saw one of my really cool, really weird ones. I'm a catalyst for great things! (At least that's what I'll keep telling myself!) :)

well...
Since I just updated my bio a couple of minutes ago...yes. :) I finally got a real 100 mm macro lens a few months back. It's been a lot of fun. Gives me a lot better depth of field than my macro kit. I had to be nose to nose with the bugs with that setup, tended to make the other end of the bug out of focus. Can't use the lens as an excuse for bad focus any more!

I thought you might have
some of your recent stuff has been pretty small, with really good shots. You have your own great springtails now. Oh, and I have the macro ring flash....haven't been too happy with it.
