Orb weaver - Argiope aurantia - Male Female

Male and female Argiope aurantia. The park has a great number of them this year and all seem to be much larger than in past years. They have been catching and eating prey at least as large as Slaty Skimmer dragonflies, we saw one web with 3 dragonflies cocooned in different areas.
