In one of my books it shows a
In one of my books it shows a pic of a larva for a ladybug. This Larva looks close but with slightly different markings. Could it be a larva for a different kind of ladybug?

 
Yes, it's a ladybird larva and probably not the one in your book
While this isn't yours, Harmonia axydidis is very common, and we do have identified larvae and pupae for this species. Unfortunately, that's a rarity. Check here and the related Images pages for details: http://bugguide.net/node/view/397
