Bag worm - Psyche casta

Do we need another one? If not I will frass.
Southeastern PA

are these
in Arizona at all
???

Bagworms
There are definitely bagworms in Arizona. This particular species was introduced from Europe to the Boston area, and has spread from there--see map. It's certainly possible for it to crop up other places, but we have no images from the Southwest at this point.

Psyche casta
As for whether to keep it or not, I'm no good at making those decisions. It's certainly a nicer image than some of the ones we have, and there's only one page at this point.

Good thing I kept it
The Maine Entomological Society requested permission to use it in their May newsletter.

Thanks
So, I'll keep it.
