.... if I am correct this is new for the Archbold checklist. I hope that William Taft or Tom Eichlin can confirm it.

 
It Turned Back into a Pumpkin
...adding the third photo clarified the matter. The pencil hairs, not visible in the two original photos did not show those. This is 2530 - Grape Root Borer Moth - Vitacea polistiformis. My thanks to William Taft, who responded to my request for help and got to see the new photo before I did.

it was not a first for the ABS list, but it was a first for me and thank you for the ID. I will keep trying to find a new Archbold moth though. :-)
