Beetle on Asimina tetramera - Aethecerinus hornii
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Natural Area, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA

Size: around 1.5 - 2 cm
This beetle was on the leaf of the endangered plant species, Asimina tetramera, (4 petal pawpaw) starting to produce flower buds. It was taken in sand pine scrub on the JILONA site in Jupiter Fl. It looks like a long horned beetle I've seen before.
