Size: 5 mm
I'm guessing this is Chrysomelidae. Is that correct? Is it possible to tell genus from a larval picture?

I have raised these last year
Host plant Brittle Bush. Also from the Desert Museum. Their first generation is now out on the first leaves and flowers of that plant. These are the adults:
