permission to temporarily reuse on BG?
I'd like to temporarily post a copy of your image, keeping it here on BugGuide, that I've adjusted in Photoshop for shadow/highlight. It would just be for comparison to another BG image that is probably the same species. I would immediately delete the copy of your image when the ID of the other insect is confirmed, which I expect will happen today.

Here's the copy
I adjusted the shadow/highlight in Photoshop to show the precise location of the black and red areas on the venter, which is one of the key ID factors for

and
Chilocorus
