North Shelby, Birmingham 35244, Shelby County, Alabama, USA
March 11, 2009
This bee is on a blueberry blossom in my back yard. He is slightly smaller than the normal "Bombus" bumble bees that I see on my other blooming plants. See images.
First record in Alabama on BugGuide for this bee.
