Nice looking Moth - Melanchroia chephise

Nice looking Moth - Melanchroia chephise
Palmetto, Manatee County, Florida, USA
March 15, 2009
Size: about 1 inch
Took photo of this insect last Sunday on 3-15-09 on our lemon-lime tree. Not sure if it is a moth or butterfly so an I.D. would be appreciated.

Nice looking moth indeed
I'm not an expert, but it looks like Melanchroia chephise, the White-tipped Black, in the guide here.
