Ant carrying moth - Aphaenogaster
St David, Cochise County, Arizona, USA

This ant was carrying a moth across a trail at Holy Trinity Monastery. In the debris at the edge of the trail the moth got hung up in some small sticks and the ant gave it up. The ant has two pale patches on the abdomen.
