Thank you for helping with this ID. You are right, this cat certainly looks more like L. manteo than any other species I could find in the Guide. However, the Guide description says note large white stripe through eye. I've uploaded another head shot. This cat doesn't have a large white stripe through it's eye. Had the white stripe not yet developed because this cat had not yet emerged from underground and begun feeding?

Many prominents overwinter as larvae, so the absence of a boldly defined white line may be due to the pre-pupation color change many larvae undergo.
