The male palp has a rather large medial apophysis (cuticular or sclerotized projection) that is called the tegelum; it is visible here, projecting to the viewer's right, on the right pedipalp. On the left pedipalp one can see what I believe must be the conductor, another palpal apophysis that often supports or assists in guiding the embolus (not visible) which connects to the female and delivers the sperm.
