another plume moth - Emmelina monodactyla

another plume moth - Emmelina monodactyla
Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California, USA
March 21, 2009
Size: approx 28mm* wingspan
*I forgot to measure specimen exactly, so measurement is calculated. Nonetheless it should still be within 1-2mm of actual wingspan.

I know how hard it is to ID plumes, so I included the full size image for editors, maybe it can help a little.

And yes, I take full responsibility for this guy's lost leg. Sorry!

6234 - Emmelina monodactyla
.... ID by Debbie Matthews, Referee for Pterophoridae at MPG.
