Tachinid? - Tachina
Mt Emily ca. 6000 feet, near La Grande, Union County, Oregon, USA
July 4, 2005
We drove to the top of Mt Emily, just northwest of La Grande, and were greeted by this interesting fly that we're guessing is a tachinid from its spiky hairdo.
