Leaf beetle on brittlebush - Trirhabda
Tucson, Pima Community College West Campus, Pima County, Arizona, USA
March 21, 2009
This leaf beetle was exceedingly abundant on brittlebush (Encelia) today. They were surprisingly alert and active in the early afternoon. Imaged with a Canon PowerShot SD1000 (Elph) using the auto macro setting.

Hey Eric -
Good to see you in the posting business. Nice shot

Thanks, Bob, I truly appreciate the encouragement and compliments. I just got a camera of my very own, and hope to gradually improve the quality of my posts.
