Leaf beetle on brittlebush - Trirhabda

This leaf beetle was exceedingly abundant on brittlebush (Encelia) today. They were surprisingly alert and active in the early afternoon. Imaged with a Canon PowerShot SD1000 (Elph) using the auto macro setting.
