opinion of Matthew Gimmel:
"something I've never seen before"

NOTE: Microstagetus shown on fig. 4.94 in (1) looks pretty good to me with the deep and long sutural striae, but there's no mention of the dense rough elytral puncturing so unusual among the Nearctic corylophids. -v
