Based on spots on clypeus and head. Female. Nice find.

Here's a similar wasp, with slightly different head markings:

Nice shots! This is a mason wasp in the family Vespidae, subfamily Eumeninae (note how wings are folded longitudinally at rest). Not sure of genus, but might start with Ancistrocerus.

Seeing the word "mason" made me think of this series, taken in the same environment earlier the same summer.
