Histerid - Hypocaccus bigemmeus
nr Ventura, Ventura County, California, USA
March 15, 2009
Size: 3mm
Found in sand under old dead fish on Pacific coast beach.

All pics taken with automontage system. Actual montaging done with CombineZM.

I believe it may be H. bigemmeus. Will consult an expert. Confirmed as H. bigemmeus by Dr. Michael Caterino via email.
