long-legged jumping spider in its tent - Hentzia mitrata - Male
Durham, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
This spider appeared to have webbed a couple of leaves together to form a tent for shelter. I saw what I assume was the same species, if not the same individual, wandering in the front yard a few days earlier (this was in summer 2004):
