I think this actually is Cryptolaemus - nice photo!
I've been intensely reviewing and studying the differences (and all-to-frequent similarities) of Cryptolaemus montrouzieri larvae and the rest of Tribe Scymnini, and this is one of very few that I think are ID'd with certainty. The dark gray color is clearly seen on the larva's extended head, and though the legs are mostly in shadow, the relatively short tibiotarsus ("shin" segment) is visible in silhouette.
