Poecilanthrax lucifer? - Chrysanthrax cypris

Poecilanthrax lucifer? - Chrysanthrax cypris
Lake Placid - Archbold Biological Station, Highlands County, Florida, USA
March 31, 2009
Poecilanthrax lucifer appears to be the closest thing I found in the guide. It would not cooperate for a top down shot of the wings unfortunately but at least some of the wing detail is visible here. Am I even close?

Bee Fly
Take a look at Chrysanthrax cypris. It's the only yellow bee fly with this wing pattern

That looks like
a match to me. Thank you!
