Bee - Andrena spp? - Osmia - male

Bee - Andrena spp? - Osmia - Male
Grainger County, Tennessee, USA
April 4, 2009
Size: 12 mm
This bee landed on my shirt, then walked onto my hand, giving me the opportunity to take photos. It was about the size of a honeybee, but didn't seem to have pollen combs on the hind legs. I think that it might be one of the Mining Bees, Andrena spp, but not sure.
