ID for Tachinid in California? - Gymnoclytia

I photographed this fly as it buzzed around and repeatedly landed on the leaves of a Mustard plant (Hirschfeldia incana, maybe?). I was thinking perhaps this was something in Phasiinae, and when I started browsing the images I was immediately struck by how similar it looked to several images in the genus Gymnoclytia. Specifically, I thought it looked pretty close to this specimen submitted by Hartmut Wisch:



Thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Mixed oak & chaparral habitat.

& I put the 't' back into my name.
