Larvae and

Larvae and "puparia"
Pennypack Restoration Trust, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA

Size: +/- 4mm
Next to a puparium for size comparison. The small size of the abdomen surprises me; I guess that it will get bigger and fuller on time. Also the legs and eyes seem deflated, perhaps because the cuticle was still very weak at this point.
I will try to photograph specimens that have been sitting around for more than 24 hours.
