I found a bunch of these fellows all clustered on my pomegranate. Every time I would check the plant (morning, noon, and evening) they seemed to all be on it.

Not an expert either but...
I would agree and even go a little deeper...

Looks like Leptoglossus phyllopus because the white stripe across the back is straight rather than wavy.
