Apsectus araneorum

Apsectus araneorum
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
August 3, 2001
Size: 1.8 mm
This spiny critter flew to UV light in the back yard. Previously I had only found Apsectus in Bali and Thailand. The only two species in NA are A. hispidus (PA to TX) and A. araneorum (AZ). D&A say (for hispidus) the last antennal seg is slightly longer than wide which would be wrong for this specimen, so I am guessing araneorum. I don't have Beal's description. Any confirmation?
