Setodes incertes - Setodes incertus - female

Setodes incertes - Setodes incertus - Female
The Mascoma River, Canaan, Grafton County, New Hampshire, USA
July 19, 2005
Size: 8 mm, head to wing tip.
This caddis, and others like it, was among several under an industrial light next to the Mascoma River. She has a dark egg sac on her abdomen. The image is high resolution, enough to make out the hairs on her wings, but her palps are indistinct. There are no spurs on her legs. I've shown this image to a caddis expert and he was baffled. Any ideas?

Maybe try this guy?

I found a listing for R. Holzenthal as a Trichoptera specialist. Googling him produced this info:

Maybe you might want to try dropping him a line and seeing if he's willing to look.

Setodes
Dave Ruiter has placed this specimen under the microscope and identified her as Setodes incertes, family Leptoceridae. She does have 2 spurs each on her back and middle legs, but none on the front

Spelling
I've been hoping that you'd get a positive ID on this interesting specimen, Thomas. The spelling that I see for the species is incertus. By the way, I'm a big fan of your Hatch Guide for New England Streams. I recommend it to fly fishers all the time, and not just New Englanders.
