Hypogastrura harveyi
One of the 3 US 'snow fleas'.
It ingests micro live forms living in the wet surface film (biofilm) on the substrate, such as bacillae, algae, protozoa, etc but also hyphen and spores of fungi. Many Collembola are 'suspension feeders' ingesting watery suspensions of all kind of food particles.
