Gray Bird Grasshopper? I found a brown nymph of that grasshopper there last year. Is this the green version?

Judging from the pattern, I'd say it's quite likely that species. Another posibility is S. shoshone, but I doubt it's that one. The nymphs of Schistocerca can be very difficult, because the colors vary so much in the same species, and different species can look very similar. Some individuals show elements of the adult pattern (this one has a pale rear margin on the pronotum), but many do not.
