Long-jawed Orb Weaver - Tetragnatha elongata-like

Long-jawed Orb Weaver - Tetragnatha elongata-like
St. Catharines, Niagara, Ontario, Canada
July 31, 2005
Size: 35mm
Found on a reed at the edge of a millpond. Perhaps a female (from reading I did elsewhere). I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me what species this is.

Have a 5mp version if anyone wants.

Check T. straminea
Spiders of the Eastern US, Howell and Jenkins, page 131, but they are all very similar

More support for T. straminea
According to the key on page 132 of that book, Straminea has an abdominal length 4-5x the width. Though it's not to exact scale, you can still get relative scale with a ruler. The abdomen was a little over 4x as long as wide, so there's a bit more support.
