Pollen bags are on the legs.
These are white because the bees from that hive on that day are all out gathering pollen from the same kind of white flowers. (If you ever get a chance to hear a talk on pollination, I think you'd enjoy it.)

This is very interesting. I have always seen yellow bags and they always looked grainy, these bags almost looked waxy. I do have a whole bunch of those white flowers- i have yet to ID. I am sure i would love a talk on pollination, i'm fascinated already when i learn new things about the nature world!

 
Yellow bags
are the ones I see most frequently. (So are yellow flowers.)
