Spring Green Preserve SNA, Sauk County, Wisconsin, USA

Found just off rock outcrop at top of steep bluff prairie. Windy day, slightly cool.

This is the first time I have seen this butterfly in the wild. One of my favs.

Very nice butterfly
Underside of wings is like our sara orangetips in southern California.
