Longhorn Beetle Pupa Hatching - Monochamus titillator - female

Longhorn Beetle Pupa Hatching - Monochamus titillator - Female
Leesburg, Lee County, Georgia, USA
April 11, 2009
Size: 23.4mm
A second day 6 photo. Did not remain still enough to measure to compare the adult length
to pupa length nor to get a photo of ventrum. I hope the markings and the little horn on
the pronotum may be enough for an ID.

Monochamus sp.
A little hard to tell from the view but I'm inclined toward M. titillator.

Monochamus titillator
I added four other shots of this specimen today. If the last one
does not show enough detail to ID as M. titillator, let me know
and I will try another one. Thanks for the help.
