Bee fly--Anastoechus? - Anastoechus
Antelope Island, Davis County, Utah, USA
September 24, 2006
This is very hairy all over. I was wondering at first if it could be Lordotus but the wing structure looks more like Anastoechus. Actually I don't have a clue. Does anyone else?

ID
Correct! Anastoechus it is.

Thanks, Andy.
Thanks for the affirmation!
