Size: Estimated 1 cm body
Found on the imitation clapboard vinyl siding of our house hanging upsidedown from one of the laps (just as shown in this photo). The ambient temperature was 7 degrees Celisus. I'm only guessing on it being a Caddisfly.

Not a caddisfly
Looks like one of the brown lacewings.

Thanks & Eye Question
Thanks to you both. Lacewing makes sense to me now. I've only seen green lacewings before but they looked just like this. I didn't realize that there are brown ones. The eyes of this individual were very striking. Is there a reason why the eyes have that light ring with the circle in the middle? Most compound eyes seem to be all one colour. The only other exception I can recall is a Deer Fly (Cryspos soridus) that had multi-coloured eyes. In the Deer fly case, the colour was obviously inherent in the eye but in this case, I'm wondering if it is an artifact of the flash. The eye colours seem to be different in the two photos.
